Make Money With Green Ideas

Sunday November 30, 2008

If you have a green idea or product that you could implement in your business, you may be able to find significant funding from investors, governments, and nonprofits. It was recently reported that the West Coast Green Conference, held in San Jose, California, had a profusion of green products and investors to support them. Even though the prices of green products are still high, they are getting more competitive and business is booming. Our new President is interested in funding small business and, in particular, small business that goes green. There are lots of green products you could incorporate into your business. Incorporate solar panels, for example.

The best new idea is to build your business around a green idea or green product. There is a lot of money out there from venture capitalists if you build a business around a green technology in energy production or clean water technology. Green business is the wave of the future. Catch the wave and you'll get the money!

Nice post. The alternative energy sector does seem to be going through a mini boom at present. Although the dropping oil price isn’t doing anyone in the industry any favours at present - look at moor Mr Boone Pickens. I had a chat with a couple of hedge fund managers the other month (yes they are still in business) and they believed the next boom area will be alternatives.
